Taysom Hill studied at Brigham Young University from 2012 to 2016 where he practiced college football, had a good sports career, and appeared in the 2017 NFL draft, but was not selected by any team, however, that same year on May 5 was signed as a free agent by the Green Bay Packers, with this team he played three preseason games, scoring two touchdowns and completing 14 of 20 passes, but was released in September 2017 during the team’s roster cut. However, he was quickly signed by the New Orleans Saints, earning his official debut in an NFL game on December 3, 2017, against the Carolina Panthers, playing a fair game and scoring two tackles against the Panther’ Kick Returner Fozzy Whittaker.
In 2018 Taysom was listed as the third line quarterback, but, due to his versatility in the game, he was used for different positions and strategies during that season, this characteristic earned him the nickname “The Human Swiss Army Knife” for his ability to adapt and resolve in any situation. Hill finished the season with 37 carries for 196 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, three receptions for four yards and passes for 64 yards, and an interception.
