Principal's Profile

Prof. Sheikh Ahsan - ul - Haq took over as Principal Govt. Degree College, Bemina on 16-04-2010. He replaced Prof. Tadzin Joldan who has been transferred to Govt. College For Women M.A Road Srinagar.

Prof Ahsan joined Higher Education Department as Lecturer in Commerce in Sept 1980 with his posting at Govt S.P.M.R College of Commerce Jammu. There after he served in similar capacity in several college of the valley.

In may 2008 Prof. Ahsan was posted as Incharge Head of newly created College at Sogam. He was appointed as Principal Incharge in Women's College, Baramulla in Sept 2008. Prof. Ahsan was selected as Principal by state Public Service Commission in December 2008
